It began 1990 TechnoTrend – performance on your side. This slogan characterizes our activity since 1990, when TechnoTrend was founded by Dr. Heiko Kieser in Erfurt/Thuringia - first under the name TechnoTrend Systemtechnik as R&D service provider. TechnoTrend rapidly evolved to one of the leading and largest TV-card-manufacturers worldwide.
1996, the first DAB-receiver card worldwide was presented, two years later the first DVB-PC-receiver card.
In 2000, TechnoTrend Systemtechnik was merged into TechnoTrend AG.
In 2004, TechnoTrend merged with the Portuguese company Novabase Interactive. TechnoTrend Holding N.V. is based in Amsterdam. Today our IT-specialists at our branch offices in Erfurt, Augsburg and Leipzig develop Set Top Boxes and PC cards for digital television. Branch offices in Munich, Krefeld, Geneva and São Paulo take care of our customers: the specialized trade, platform operators, broadcasters and large, reputable manufacturers, which sell our products under their own label.
In 2007, the companies of the TechnoTrend group with its employees belong to the most innovative developers, service providers and manufacturers of digital receivers. Thus, we feel well-prepared for the coming years, in which the digitization will continue to progress world-wide.
2008 the TechnoTrend N.V. divest its Portuguese section and the TechnoTrend AG changed its company naming into TechnoTrend GmbH.
